Jason Palmer, current leader of the Alps Tour ranking, said he was delightful to play such a great course. He signed flawless card of 67 to lead the opening round in 2013 Citadelle Trophy International – Golf de Preisch, new venue of the schedule.

The course this week is the star. The Golf de Preisch is in France very close to Luxembourg border. All the players agreed to say it is a true test, 6456 meters par 72, great greens and really good design. Palmer, who already has two titles this season, including one two weeks ago, seemed to be ready to run for a third win.

Players from UK are dominating the Alps Tour this year. No less that three of them are among the TOP 5 but the battle is still on. A group of 3 Frenchmen fired 69, 3 under par, David Bobrowski, Nicolas Perichou and Fabien Marty but none of them, in cas of a win on Sunday could threat Palmer.

The projected cut after one round is +1.
