The Alps Tour and LETAS join forces for the 2026 Hauts de France–Pas de Calais Golf Open

Saint-Omer, France, September 8th, 2026 – The Alps Tour stays in France this week, heading north to the Hauts-de-France region for the 18th event of the regular season, the 2026 Hauts de France–Pas de Calais Golf Open.

The tournament will take place from September 10th to 12th at Aa Saint-Omer Golf Club, near the town of Saint-Omer in northern France.

As in previous editions, the event is co-sanctioned by the Ladies European Tour Access Series (LETAS) and the Alps Tour. The field will be equally divided, with 66 players from each Tour competing on the same course and under the same conditions. However, the players will compete for two separate prize funds and two separate titles, one for each Tour.

The defending champion from last year, Quentin Debove, is now competing on the DP World Tour, underlining the tournament’s role as an important stepping stone in the development of European professional golfers.

This marks the fifth consecutive year that the event has featured on the Alps Tour schedule. The tournament has a long history on the European golf calendar, having previously been part of the MasterCard Tour, the European Challenge Tour and the DP World Tour, before joining the Alps Tour and LETAS schedules as a co-sanctioned event.

The 2026 Hauts de France–Pas de Calais Golf Open will be a 54-hole stroke-play event, with a cut after 36 holes to the top 30 professional players and ties. In the event of a tie after 54 holes, a sudden-death playoff will determine the winner.

The event will offer a minimum prize fund of €48,000, along with 45,000 Order of Merit points. The winner will receive €7,600 and 6,525 Order of Merit points.

The Field

Fresh from claiming his third victory of the season at the 2026 Longwy Alps Open last week, Alexandre Vandermoten will be back in action at Saint-Omer. The Frenchman has enjoyed a remarkable rookie season and could now go one step further in the Order of Merit, with the possibility of taking the lead from Andrea Romano and Maxime Legros.

Currently fourth and fifth in the Order of Merit respectively, Spaniards Pablo Alperi Lopez and Mario Galiano Aguilar will be looking to strengthen their positions in the Top 5, while also chasing their first victory of the season. Galiano Aguilar is no stranger to success at Saint-Omer, having won the tournament in 2024.

Having dropped out of the qualifying places for the HotelPlanner Tour, Ireland’s Robert Moran will also be looking to bounce back and regain his position in the promotion race.

A total of 66 players, including two amateurs, will tee it up in the men’s event. The field features players from 11 different nations: Argentina, Austria, Cameroon, England, France, Ireland, Italy, Jersey, the Netherlands, Spain and Switzerland.

The Course

Located in the heart of the scenic Aa Valley in Saint-Omer, France, Aa Saint-Omer Golf Club is a renowned 27-hole facility featuring an 18-hole championship course measuring 6,182 metres (par 71), as well as a 9-hole course ideal for beginners and players looking to improve their short game.

Opened in 1990, the club is the only golf course in France designed by Dutch golfer Joan Dudok van Heel. Its undulating layout blends naturally into the surrounding landscape, with mature trees and spectacular views over the Aa Valley providing a variety of challenges for golfers of all levels.

The club has built a strong reputation since its opening and is consistently ranked among the top 30 courses in Northern France. The championship course has hosted an annual professional tournament since 1997, establishing the venue as a long-standing fixture on the European golf calendar.
