Alessandro Grammatica, 21 year old, fired 67-5-under-par at Milano Zoate Golf Open and took the lead by one over four players : fellows Marco Crespi and Andrea Rota, France’s Guillaume Cambis and Norvegian Jason Kelly.

Alps Tour is visiting Zoate Golf Club for the first time. The course, par 72 is 6400 meters long, the longest of the season. Alessandro Grammatica, who’s been playing great for 3 weeks now, completed his first round without dropping any shot on this challenging 18-holes in the forest. Grammatica is running for maiden win.

One stroke behind among the 4 players, Italian Marco Crespi, 32 year old, is the most experimented. He already got 3 wins on the Alps Tour. France’s rookie Guillaume Cambis finished twice this year as runner-up and will for sure be a serious pretender to pole position.

The projected cut is +1.
