D-2 before the First Tournament

Sunny day in Ain Sokhna for practice before the start of the season in Egypt.
The first tournament, the Red Sea Ain Bay Open will be played at Sokhna Golf Club next Tuesday with 80 players, including eight national players. Two past Alps Tour winners, Frenchmen Xavier Poncelet and Sebastien Gros will attend the event. Players from the Qualifying School have entered too.
The second event, the Red Sea Little Venice Open is scheduled the week after, from 5th to7th March.
Both events will distribute a prize money of 30,000 euro each and will fully count for the Alps Tour Order of Merit.
Sokhna Golf Club is only one hour drive from Cairo and features an 18 hole Championship Golf Course designed by renowned golf course designers, John Sanford and Tim Lobb. The 27 holes are opened and ready for play (last 9 holes opened at the beginning of this year).
