Bobrowski surged two shots clear

France's David Bobrowski surged two shots clear to lead the Open du Haut-Poitou and be in contention for maiden win.

David Bobrowski surged on top of Open du Haut-Poitou leaderboard during second round. The 23 year old player from Paris area fired a brilliant 67, 6 under par to take the lead with -8 total.

Bobrowski has played his maiden season as pro in 2011 and recorded his best season during his rookie year, a top 16. He only played seven events this year and has made the cut 3 times.

England’s Steven Brown signed for same excellent score to eventually finished second by his own and be in contention for last round. Brown grabbed his maiden win in France last June and confirmed his new status with a second win in Italy end of August.

Overnight leader, Autria’s Lukas Nemecz is 3 shots back of the Frenchman as he dropped two shots on tricky par 3 16th.
