Alps Tour Q School Day-1

Slovenia's Tim Gornik won the Q school final in La Cala thanks to great margin after 2 rounds. He battled hard in the wind to score 76 today for -4 total.

No less than 155 players are about to tee off the Alps tour School stage 1, in La Cala Golf Course, near Malaga, to earn one of the 93 spots to go into the final. Who will succeed to Tim Gornik, the 2014 Q School winner ?

The great 3 courses of La Cala Resort are the perfect venue for the Alps Tour Qualifying School. There are about 220 players in total from 19 different countries who came to battle for a right to play on the Alps Tour in 2016.

The first stage offers 93 spots to play the final stage. The exact numbers of spots per course will be officially announced after the first round has started but more or less 2, there will be 41 spots for players on ASIA course, 30 on EUROPA course and 22 on AMERICA course.
