A fortnight in Miglianico Golf & Country Club
This is the final fortnight of 2016 Alps Tour season. The players will enjoy the Miglanico Golf and Country Club for the next two weeks or at least, the best of them. The Abruzzo Open, 4 round tournament, is the last regular event of the international schedule. America’s Ronald Kirby designed the 18 hole course, par 72 with 5875 meters. Water hazards are often in play and game will have to be sharp to pretend to win this week.
The top 50 after Sunday will enter the grand finale event due to be played next week to deem the final top 5 players who will graduate to play Challenge Tour next year. Alps Tour leader, England’s Matt Wallace will attend to try to get a sixth victory.
Victor Perez, Franck Daux, Enrico Di Nitto and Tom Shadbolt are currently in the race to play on upper circuit next year but challengers are close and these two coming weeks in Italy could change the results.
