This week, the Alps Tour makes a stop at Golf Club Lignano for the Servizitalia Open. The event has as title sponsor Servizitalia SpA, a partner in the health services, sterilizing linens, sterilizing surgical instruments.

Today, the Invitational Pro Am welcomes 31 teams. It will be the chance to see a preview of some of the players that are then destined to play roles as well in Servizitalia Open. Take the field, among others, the Italians Cristiano Terragni, winner of the 2011 Italian Pro Tour money list, Joon Kim, Claudio Vigano, Leonardo Motta, Niccolo Quintarelli and Alessandro Grammatica, the Englishman Jack Senior, current leader of the Alps Tour Order of Merit Frenchmen Matthieu Bey, Gallois Clement, Sebastien Gross and Julien Foret, German Philipp Mejow and Spaniards Jesus Legarrea Jaime Camargo.

The tournament will start tomorrow with 138 competitors taking part from 12 countries, including over sixty Italians. After 54 holes, the winner will earn a cheque of 6,525 Euro.
