France’s Thomas Elissalde and Belgium’s Hugues Joannes share lead going into final round of Gösser Open. With -11 total, they have a narrow one stroke advantage over overnight leader Italy’s Andrea Romano and fellow Mattia Miloro.

Spring was very wet today in Austria and big showers felt on Maria Lankowitz golf course. Despite poor weather conditions, the cut was very low, -3 and those who did not take advantage of fare weather yesterday battled to score under 70.

Hugues Joannes, Flory Van Donck winner in 2012, managed to sign for amazing 65 7 under par to aggregate -7. He eventually got joined by France’s rookie Thomas Elissalde who scored flawless 67. Elissalde confirmed his good form after his runner up place last week in France.

Best score of the day was recorded by Spain’s Borja Etchart, 2013 Open International de Rebetz winner. He fired 64 with more birdies, nine, than pars. He currently ties 11th place, five shots back of the lead.
