Van Driel won early race

Netherland’s Darius Van Driel took the opportunity of quiter weather this morning to hole 5 birdies in a row on his back nine to take a 2 shot lead in Open Colli Berici with -9 total.

After a very windy morning, the second round was suspended twice on Friday, once at 14h30 dur to thrunderstorms and players were called back to the club house at 17h40 as the fog invited itself on the Colli Berici Golf Club.

Play resumed this morning at 7h30 and the playing conditions were way different than the day before. Darius Van Driel took this opportunty to prove his game and putting are in good shape. He will battle for a maiden win this afternoon.
