Augustin Holé wins the 2023 Alps Tour Grand Final Presented by AURALIS Limitless Lighting
Cavaso del Tomba, October 20th 2023 – After 1 hole of sudden-death play-off, France’s Augustin Holé wins the 2023 Alps Tour Grand Final Presented by AURALIS Limitless Lighting with a birdie on the 1st playoff hole. Holé, alongside, Spain’s Quim Vidal concluded their final round at Asolo Golf Club tied for the lead, therefore, took part in a 2-way sudden-death playoff thanks to their final score of 10 under-par. Tied for 3rd place at 9 under-par Italy’s Elia Dallanegra, Ireland’s Paul McBride and France’s Benjamin Kedochim.
Ireland’s Ronan Mullarney wins the 2023 Alps Tour Order of Merit and secures himself one of the five sought-after 2024 Challenge Tour cards that were up for grabs. Alongside Mullarney, Spain’s Quim Vidal, Netherland’s Kiet Van der Weele, France’s Oihan Guillamoundeguy and England’s Jack Floydd earned the remaining 4 cards that will give them access to the 2024 Challenge Tour.

The final round of the 2023 Alps Tour Grand Final Presented by AURALIS Limitless Lighting began at 9:00 am local time from both the 1st and 10th hole under overcast skies with some occasional light rain showers at Asolo Golf Club in Cavaso del Tomba, Italy.
Augustin Holé from France wins the 2023 Alps Tour Grand Final Presented by AURALIS Limitless Lighting after an incredible birdie putt from about 18 meters on the 1st playoff hole against Spain’s Quim Vidal. He earned 9,500 Order of Merit points and the winner’s check of €10,000. He followed his opening round of 9 under-par, with a 4 under-par and a 3 over-par to end the tournament at 10 under-par. After his victory, he was very emotional: “I couldn’t have wished for anything better than this. I fought hard today and throughout the entire event. I was looking for this victory for over a year. It’s been a goal of mine to win an Alps Tour event for over a year and to be able to do it today, I’m speechless. I lost my dad a couple of years back, and this one is definitely for him and for my family around me. I’m so grateful to have the people that I have around me, my staff, my friends so this one is for them and for myself. I give all of them credit but also myself. I now have Stage 2 of Q-School and hopefully, I will be able to repeat the same thing there but we will see how it goes. Now I will enjoy it and take a few days off.”
Ireland’s Ronan Mullarney wins the 2023 Alps Tour Order of Merit rank and earns one of the coveted 2024 Challenge Tourcards that was up for grabs. Throughout the season, he won two events, one in Austria and one in France. After Mullarney secured his Order of Merit title he commented: “Absolutely this was one of my goals from the beginning of the year. As much as it is great being on the Alps Tour, tons of nice people, I’m glad to be off the Alps Tour and move on to the next step. I was happy with my golf this year, I feel ready to compete there. I was able to play a few Challenge Tour events before and I was able to step up my game so now I’m ready.” When asked about his experience playing on the Alps Tour he added: “The standard of the Alps Tour is extremely high. Augustin Holé extends his lead at the 2023 Alps Tour Grand Final Presented by AURALIS Limitless Lighting
The 2nd round of the 2023 Alps Tour Grand Final Presented by AURALIS Limitless Lighting began as an overcast day with some light to moderate rain for the players competing at Asolo Golf Club in Cavaso del Tomba, Italy. Play began at 9:00 am local time from the 1st and 10th hole. This is the season-ending tournament where the top 5 players in the Order of Merit rank at the end of this week’s tournament will earn a Challenge Tour, category 12b card for the 2024 season.
Augustin Holé from France extends his lead after 2 rounds of the 2023 Alps Tour Grand Final Presented by AURALIS Limitless Lighting with a two-day total of 13 under-par. He followed his bogey-free 9 under-par opening round, with a 4 under-par, 68 where he made 5 birdies and 1 bogey. He is twenty-six years old and currently represents Biarritz Le Phare. After his round, Holé was very satisfied as he: “I’m enjoying it, I’m enjoying it a lot. I hit lots of good shots, a few good putts, and a chip-in, I mean, nothing can bother me at the moment. I’m trying to do my best on every shot and enjoying the day.” During today’s round, he had a chip-in birdie on the 8th hole, when asked about the scoring opportunities, he commented: “I gave myself many birdie opportunities, and my chipping as well as my long game is very good at the moment to so both combined is pretty decent.” The weather forecast hasn’t been great this week and rain remains in the forecast: “The weather has been ok today, we were expecting a lot of rain, and we didn’t have so much. At the beginning of the round when it was raining I played decent, I was trying to make pars and I did that really well. Once it stopped raining I was able to get my round going. We will see for tomorrow.” Holé added that “Of course, tomorrow’s goal is the trophy!”
Twenty-seven years old, Alexandre Daydou from France finds himself in 2nd place after his 6 under-par 66 in today’s round for a total of 9 under-par. He turned pro in 2016 and currently represents Cannes Mougins. In his round, he made 3 birdies and 1 bogey on his front nine before making the turn, where he made 2 more birdies and 1 eagle on the 12th hole. Daydoucommented that: “My game was ok, I made a few opportunities on the front nine where I was able to birdie 8 and 9. I knew I had to stay focused for the back nine because they are slightly trickier for me so I tried to stay focused and get some birdie opportunities and see what happens. I’m happy with my game today, especially with this weather.” He made a birdie on 11 and an eagle on the 12th hole: “I was able to birdie 11 and eagle 12 so it was a good 30 mins for me. I hit a good drive, then my 3-wood and made a good eagle putt from about 7 meters.”
France’s Benjamin Kedochim, who shot a 1 under-par round yesterday, finds himself tied for 3rd place with a two-day total of 7 under-par alongside Ireland’s Paul McBride. In his 2nd round he made 6 under-par, 66 with 7 birdies and 1 bogey. Prior to the start of this event, Kedochim was 11th in the Order of Merit rank and is looking for a good tournament here to hopefully make a move to try and earn one of the 5 coveted Challenge Tour Cards for next season. After he signed for his 6 under-par, 66, he commented: “Obviously I thought about the standings. I know I have to either win the tournament or finish in 2nd place to enter the top 5. So, putting a low round together is what I needed to do and I’m glad I did. My putting today was great.”
Tied alongside Kedochim in 3rd place at 7 under-par, Ireland’s Paul McBride. He is 27 years old and represents The Island Golf Club. He is 17th in the current Order of Merit rank and is looking to make a move with a good performance this week. McBride followed his opening round of 6 under-par, with a 1 under-par, 71. He made 4 birdies and 3 bogeys.
In 5th place with a two-day total of 6 under-par, one of this season’s winners, England’s Jack Floydd. He shot a 4 under-par, 68 today and is looking for a strong finish tomorrow as he was 4th in the standings ahead of this week and wants to secure his Challenge Tour card for 2024.

Augustin Holé leads after Round 1 at the 2023 Alps Tour Grand Final Presented by AURALIS Limitless Lighting
An overcast day with cold fall temperatures and some light rain towards the end of the round welcomed the players for the first round of the 2023 Alps Tour Grand Final Presented by AURALIS Limitless Lighting. The tournament is being held at Asolo Golf Club in Cavaso del Tomba, Italy. This is the 1st time that Asolo Golf Club is hosting the Alps Tour Grand Final and 9 years since it last hosted an Alps Tour regular event. Play began at 8:20 am local time from the 1st hole for all competitors. Rain is expected for the next two rounds, with slightly warmer temperatures than today. This is the season-ending tournament where the top 5 players in the Order of Merit rank at the end of this week’s tournament will earn a Challenge Tour, category 12b card for the 2024 season.

Augustin Holé from France shot an incredible bogey-free 9 under-par, 63 to lead after the 1st round of the 2023 Alps Tour Grand Final Presented by AURALIS Limitless Lighting. He is twenty-six years old and currently represents Biarritz Le Phare. He began his round with 2 birdies on the first two holes and then made another one on the 8th hole before making the turn where he made an eagle on the 12th hole and 4 birdies. After his 9-under-par bogey-free opening round, Holé explained that: “I didn’t miss a green until the 14th or 15th hole and didn’t miss many fairways either so overall, I’m very pleased. I stayed patient, I stayed in the game and it was a very good day. Obviously, putting a 9 under-par round is a good feeling, everything worked well today.” He went on to add that in the “past few months, I’ve been working a lot in staying the present so I will stay in the present, I’m going to go eat now, some practice, then wake up tomorrow and we’ll see how it goes.” Holé also commented that he found “great pin positions today, I actually told a referee today on the course I said it’s hard and I think we need more of that. I was happy to see that the pins were tucked in the left corner, right corner, behind the bunker and stuff.”When asked where he plans to play next year, “We’ll hopefully move up to the DP World Tour.”
Italy’s Edoardo R Lipparelli is in a three-way tie for 3rd place alongside Ireland’s Paul McBride and Spain’s Quim Vidal with a first-round score of 6 under-par. He shot a bogey-free 6 under-par, 66 with 3 birdies on both the front and back nine. After Lipparelli concluded his round, he commented on how today, “Was a steady round today, I didn’t have any mishits that’s how I was able to put a bogey-free round together. My putter finally helped me, I’ve been working a lot on my putting and it’s finally showing the results. The greens are in excellent condition, they roll really well so hitting some good putts you have a better chance of making them.”
Paul McBride from Ireland is the 2nd player in the three-way tie for 3rd place at 6 under-par with another great bogey-free round. He is 27 years old and represents The Island Golf Club. He made a birdie on the 4th and 6th hole to make the turn at 2 under-par and then added four more birdies on the 10th, 12th, 15th and 17th hole. He is 17th in the current Order of Merit rank and is looking to make a move with a good performance this week.
Spain’s Quim Vidal, winner of the second event of the season, the 2023 Red Sea Little Venice Open, is the third player in the 3-way tie for 3rd place at 6 under-par. He is 23 years old and currently is 6th in the Order of Merit standings, he is looking to make a move in the rankings this week to try and earn his Challenge Tour card for next season. When he signed for his 66, he commented: “Today I played pretty solid, I hit some good shots and that allowed me to have some good confidence for the rest of the round. The course is really interesting, you can have various strategies, especially from the tee shot but to put a good round together staying in play is crucial.” When asked if he thought about his current position in the Order of Merit rank, Vidal responded: “I slightly thought about it, I tried to stay present as much as possible but it definitely comes into my head at times.”
Spain’s Joel Moscatel finds himself in 5th place after the 1st round with a 5 under-par, 67. He is 25 years old and represents RCG El Prat. Moscatel had a tough start with a double bogey on the 1st hole and then went on to make 7 birdies to conclude his round. After his round he commented: “It was a really good day, I started with a double bogey but Borja was playing well so I tried to feed off some momentum from him but at the same time I was really calm and staying patient as I knew I was playing well. Playing with Borja was fun, we enjoyed it, we were talking a lot and it was enjoyable.”

Welcome to the 2023 Alps Tour Grand Final Presented by AURALIS Limitless Lighting
Cavaso del Tomba, October 16th 2023 – After a 13-week season, it’s time for the season-ending event, the 2023 Alps Tour Grand Final Presented by AURALIS Limitless Lighting. To be eligible to participate in the sought-after final, professional or amateur players must have participated in at least 5 events in 3 different countries. The first 50 professional players and ranked amateurs inside the ‘Top 50’ are eligible to compete. To compete in the final, besides being inside the ‘Top 50’ each player must be an Alps Tour member.
At the end of this week’s event, the top 5 players in the Alps Tour Order of Merit rank will earn a Challenge Tour category 12b card for the 2024 season.
Current Order of Merit Leader and a 2-times winner this season, Ireland’s Ronan Mullarney has already secured himself one of the five coveted Challenge Tour cards that are up for grabs this week. Alongside him, Netherland’s Kiet Van der Weele, who captured 3 wins his season, automatically earned himself a category 12a Challenge Tour card for the 2023 and the 2024 season.
The 2023 Alps Tour Grand Final Presented by AURALIS Limitless Lighting will occur in Northeaster Italy, at Asolo Golf Club in Cavaso del Tomba from October 18th– 20th 2023. This is the 1st time that Asolo Golf Club will host the Alps Tour Grand Final and 9 years since it last hosted an Alps Tour regular tournament.
On Tuesday 17th October, with a shot-gun start at 11:00 am local time, the traditional best ball aggregate to Par Pro-Am will occur with approximately 20 teams participating.
The Field
Being the last event of the season, the best-ranked players will be competing for the 2023 Alps Tour Grand Final Presented by AURALIS Limitless Lighting title, but more importantly, they will attempt to earn one of the 5 eagerly desired 2024 Challenge Tour cards that will be assigned to the top 5 ranked players in the Order of Merit at the end of this week’s event.
In the field this week, all of this season’s winners will be present, which include: Jack Floydd winner of the season opener, Quim Vidal, a three-times winner this season Kiet Van der Weele, a two-times winner and the most recent winner Ronan Mullarney, Luca Cianchetti, Jose Manuel Pardo Benitez, Lars Keunen, Manfredi Manica, Gianmaria Rean Trincheroand Oihan Guillamoundeguy.
The 49 players in the field this week are competing for a prize fund of €50,000 and 60,000 points. The winner of the 2023 Alps Tour Grand Final Presented by AURALIS Limitless Lighting will earn € 10,000 and 9,500 Order of Merit points.
The tournament format is a 54 holes stroke play, 18 holes a day with no cut. In case of a tie for 1st place at the conclusion of the 54 holes, there will be a sudden-death playoff to determine the winner of the 2023 Alps Tour Grand Final Presented by AURALIS Limitless Lighting.
The most recent winner of the tournament is Ireland’s Jonathan Yates, who won the event in 2022, held at Modena Golf & Country Club.

The Course
Asolo Golf Club is home to 27 holes of golf (red, green, and yellow courses) and the Asolo Golf Academy for players of all levels. The 27 holes at Asolo Golf Club, were developed by European Golf Design. It was founded in 1995 by a group of entrepreneurs, including Gilberto Benetton, and the current President of the Golf Club is Christian Benetton.
The 2023 Alps Tour Grand Final Presented by AURALIS Limitless Lighting, will be played on Asolo Golf Club‘s Red and Green course, which is what is usually selected for tournament play. The course will be set up as a 6283 meters, Par 72. The red course allows players to make a few mistakes despite having vast, undulating greens and deep bunkers. On the other hand, the green course is shorter and more technical, with narrow fairways, many water obstacles, and a challenging final 3 holes.

Beyond the golf, Asolo Golf Club offers a well-equipped fitness center with a sauna, massage room, and relaxation area, a soccer field, a children’s playground, and tennis courts. Asolo Golf Club will host the 2023 Alps Tour Grand Final Presented by AURALIS Limitless Lighting.
Asolo, September 22nd 2023– The Alps Tour is proud to announce that the 2023 Alps Tour Grand Final Presented by AURALIS Limitless Lighting, will take place from October 18th – 20th at Asolo Golf Club near Treviso, Italy. The 2023 edition will mark the first time that Asolo Golf Club will host the Alps Tour Grand Final and 9 years since it last hosted an Alps Tour tournament.

The players in the field will compete over 54 holes with no cut for a prize fund of €50,000 and 60,000 Order of Merit points. The winner’s share will be of €10,000 and 9,500 Order of Merit points. In case of a tie after 54 holes, there will be a sudden-death play-off to determine the winner.
