Subregis aims maiden win

France's Kenny Subregis eventually took the lead for final round of Open International du Haut-Poitou. Matt Wallace from England is one shot behind.

Kenny Subregis, 18 years old, took the lead after he completed his 54 holes this morning in Open International du Haut-Poitou. The young man will be chased by England’s Matt Wallace just one shot back of the lead.

Subregis turned pro just before the first round and and found his way quite easily with this new status. After first card of 66, 7 under he scored 71 for second round despite he had to finish it this morning. Thunderstorms forced the officials to suspend the paly yesterday at 18h15 and the rookie with two holes to play eventually reach -9.

On his toes, England’s Matt Wallace with -8 and a group of 3 players, Raphaël Marguery, Gerard Piris and Tobias Nemecz.
