As in French chateau, every new vintage on Alps Tour can offer honest wine or wonderfull nectar. It seems that 2012 could be one of the best growth of the past decade. Let’s have a look at entry list and identify our future stars!

Michael Stewart, Scotland, is one of the few players to have won Scottish Boys Amateur (2008) and Scottish amateur (2010). He was in the Scottish Team at the Eisenhower Trophy in 2010. In 2011, he was runner up at the Amateur Championship and member of the Walker Cup Team who defeated USA. He is actually 12th at the amateur world ranking.

Ross Kellett, Scotland, best scottish amateur in 2010, member of the Scotland Team at the Eisenhower Trophy in 2010 and member of the Walker Cup in 2011.

France’s Johann Lopez-Lazaro and Alexander Levy, both member of the French Team winner of the Eisenhower Trophy in 2010. Levy won as well the European Team Championship in 2011 with French fellows.

England’s Steve Brown won the English Amateur in 2011 after being runner up last year. In 2011 as well, he was runner up at the European Amateur and the Scottish Amateur. He was member of the Walker Cup 2011. He claimed the half point that sealed memorable victory of GB&I over USA since 2003.

On the paper, those players are said to be the best but if golf is more than past results. Every player teeing this week can be our next star…
