9eme Open International du Haut Poitou

After one year off, the Haut Poitou Golf Club welcome again the 9th edition of the International Open du Haut Poitou. In the meantine, works have been done on three greens. Course should be difficult if the wind keeps on blowing.

Today was the Opening Pro-Am in which 63 amateurs shared eighteen holes with the best representatives of the Tour. Rain stopped just before the shot-gun start at 10.00 am. Winners are the following:
Best Team in Gross – 65 (-8) Guillaume CAMBIS (Fra)
Best Team in Nett – 57 (-16) Jaime CAMARGO (Esp).

Club Members are very happy to host the tournament and offer a friendly ambiance to the players. They will offer their time to help the tournament organisation for scoring, marshalling etc.

Tomorrow, 106 players will start the first round and try to qualify for the final round on Saturday.
