Aravell, June 23rd, 2026 – This week, the Alps Tour returns to action in northeastern Spain for the 2026 UGolf Aravell Andorra Open. The tournament will be played from June 25–27 at UGolf Aravell Andorra, located in Aravell, Lleida, Spain, just a few kilometers from the Principality of Andorra.

Now in its fifth edition, the UGolf Aravell Andorra Open was originally established in 2022 to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the host venue, UGolf Aravell Andorra, and has since become a regular fixture on the Alps Tour schedule.

On Monday, June 22nd, a Qualifying Tournament was held at the host venue, with the top 10 finishers securing their place in this week’s field.

This week’s event will offer a minimum prize fund of €48,000 and 45,000 Order of Merit points, with €6,900 and 6,525 points awarded to the winner.

The 2026 UGolf Aravell Andorra Open will be contested over 54 holes of stroke play, with a cut after 36 holes to the top 40 professionals and ties, including all amateurs within the cut. In the event of a tie at the conclusion of the final round, the tournament winner will be decided by a sudden-death play-off.

Two Best Ball Aggregate to Par Pro-Ams are scheduled during tournament week, both starting with a 9:00 a.m. shotgun start. The Opening Pro-Am took place on Tuesday, June 23, while the Closing Pro-Am will be played on Sunday, June 28. The newly crowned champion of the 2026 UGolf Aravell Andorra Open will join the participants in the Closing Pro-Am.

The Field

As the race for the Order of Merit intensifies, the 2026 UGolf Aravell Andorra Open represents another important opportunity for players to strengthen their position, with seven members of the current top ten competing this week.

Among the standout names in the field are five 2026 season winners: Italy’s Enrico Di Nitto, Ireland’s Sam Murphy, France’s Alexandre Vandermoten and Paul Franquet, and Spain’s Alejandro Rodriguez Andreu. Each arrives this week with the opportunity to secure a second victory of the season.

The only absentees from the current top ten this week are Order of Merit leader Andrea Romano of Italy, France’s Maxime Legros, who occupies second place in the standings, and Italy’s Alessandro Nodari.
Romano and Legros have already secured three victories each this season, earning immediate promotion to the HotelPlanner Tour for the remainder of the year.

As the race toward the 2026 Hulencourt Alps Tour Grand Final continues, players will be looking to capitalize on another important opportunity to earn valuable Order of Merit points and improve their standing.

The Course

Located just 15 km from the Principality of Andorra and 5 km from La Seu d’Urgell, Aravell Golf & Country Club is nestled in Aravell, Lleida, Spain. This 18-hole course, designed by two-time Masters Champion José María Olazábal, will be played as a par 71 over a distance of 6,155 meters.
