Spain’s Pablo Alperi and Argentina’s Gregorio Ferrandez lead the way before final round in Lacanau
France, May 22nd, 2026 – A thrilling final round awaits at UGOLF Lacanau, with around a dozen players separated by just four shots heading into Saturday at the Lacanau Alps Open.
At the top of the leaderboard sit Spain’s Pablo Alperi and Argentina’s Gregorio Ferrandez, after rounds of 68 (-4) and 66 (-6) respectively during the second round.
The leading duo holds only a one-shot advantage over a group of five players featuring Spain’s Jorge Maicas and Victor Garcia Broto, France’s Louis Bonté and Nathan Legendre, and Italy’s Luca Cavalli.
Just two shots back, Italy’s Pietro Boeris and Switzerland’s Maximilien Sturdza remain firmly in contention heading into the final day.
For tomorrow’s final round, play will begin at 10:40 a.m. from both the 1st and 10th tees. At the conclusion of the third round, the winner will receive €7,920 and 6,525 Order of Merit points. In the event of a tie, a playoff will determine the champion.

France’s Maxime Legros claims maiden Alps Tour title at the Dreamland Open
Egypt, April 21st, 2026 – France’s Maxime Legros held his nerve in windy conditions to secure his first Alps Tour victory at the Dreamland Open, leading the tournament from start to finish.
The 24-year-old, representing Dinard Golf Club, closed with a final round of 71 (-1), featuring four birdies and three bogeys, enough to seal a well-deserved win after three days in control. The victory also marks a strong comeback for Legros, who was forced to end his 2025 season early due to a back injury.
Spain’s Pablo Alperi once again finished runner-up, just two shots behind after a final round of 68 (-4). It is his second consecutive second-place finish, confirming his excellent form.
France’s Alexis Leray, who started the day in second place, carded a 74 (+2) to finish tied for third alongside seven other players, including Order of Merit leader Andrea Romano, who further strengthens his position at the top of the rankings.
With this victory, Legros earns €6,200 and 6,525 Order of Merit points and moves up to fifth place in the standings. Pablo Alperi climbs to third place, behind Andrea Romano (1st) and Robert Moran (2nd).
The players will return to action on Friday, April 24th in Cairo for the Allegria Open.

Maxime Legros : “Honestly, I didn’t feel much stress before the round. I started really well with two birdies on two easier holes, but then my driver let me down and I was missing a lot of fairways to the right. I had to scramble a lot and faced some very long putts, so I did quite well to limit the damage to three bogeys over nine holes. Then I managed to regain control, hit more fairways, and the birdies on the back nine really helped. I’m very happy, especially after last year when I had to undergo back surgery. I went through some tough moments and doubts about whether I would come back at the same level. In a way, going through that makes me less stressed on the course, because I know there are worse things than missing a shot or losing a tournament.”
Pablo Alperi : “I’m very happy with the way we’re working and doing things. We’ve been close to winning two weeks in a row, which shows we’re on the right track. The feelings are good, and we just need to keep working like this and wait for our moment. I’m already looking forward to next week — if we keep doing the right things, something good will come soon.”

France’s Maxime Legros extends his lead ahead of the final round
Egypt, April 20th, 2026 – France’s Maxime Legros continued his strong form at Dreamland Golf Club, extending his lead after the second round of the Dreamland Open. Despite an early bogey on his second hole, the current ninth in the Order of Merit produced another solid performance, carding a 66 (-6) highlighted by seven birdies.
Chasing his first Alps Tour title, Legros now holds a four-shot advantage over fellow Frenchman Alexis Leray, who posted a 67 (-5) in Round 2.
Another French player, 2024 Order of Merit winner Benjamin Kedochim, sits in a share of third place alongside Spain’s Pablo Alperi, runner-up at the Villa Paradiso Alps Open.
For tomorrow’s final round, play will begin at 8:00 a.m. from both the 1st and 10th tees. At the conclusion of the third round, the winner will receive €6,200 and 6,525 Order of Merit points. In the event of a tie, a playoff will determine the champion.

Maxime Legros : “I felt really good during the warm-up, but I had a tough start with a few poor swings that led to a bogey on a par 5. After that, I stuck to the same game plan as yesterday and managed to execute it well. I drove the ball really well, which makes a big difference on this course. Alexis Leray : “I’ve made very few mistakes, just two bogeys in two rounds. There’s no particular part of my game making the difference, but I have good speed on the greens, which helps me avoid errors. I’m in position to compete for the win — it’s not the first time this season — and I’ll give it my all. I’ll need to stay focused and sharp all day tomorrow.”

France’s Alexandre Vandermoten claims dominant victory at the inaugural Villa Paradiso Alps Open
Italy, April 11th, 2026 – France’s Alexandre Vandermoten delivered a commanding performance from start to finish to win the inaugural Villa Paradiso Alps Open. Starting the final round with a two-shot lead, the Frenchman quickly extended his advantage with two birdies in his opening holes. Despite a setback with a double bogey on the 6th, the Toulouse Golf Club player showed great composure, bouncing back with two birdies on the back nine to secure his first professional victory.
Thanks to a final round of 70 (-2), the rookie finished three shots clear of fellow Qualifying School graduate Pablo Alperi and Ireland’s Robert Moran, who shared second place. For Moran, it marks a third runner-up finish in four events this season.
With this victory, Vandermoten earns €7,120 and 6,525 Order of Merit points. He now moves up to fourth place in the rankings, behind Andrea Romano (1st), Robert Moran (2nd), and Mario Galiano Aguilar (3rd).
The players will return to action on Sunday, April 19th in Cairo for the Dreamland Open.

Alexandre Vandermoten : “My putting was very good all week, and my overall game was really solid. I had already put myself in contention in Egypt, so this is a continuation of that. France’s Alexandre Vandermoten extends his lead ahead of the final round
Players began to find their rhythm at Villa Paradiso Golf Club during the second round of the Villa Paradiso Alps Open. While only one player broke 68 (-4) on day one, eight players bettered that mark on Friday.
First-round leader Alexandre Vandermoten was among them, signing an excellent 65 (-7) highlighted by a spectacular albatross on the par-5 11th. After a strong front nine featuring five birdies, the 25-year-old holed a 4-wood from 231 metres to produce one of the standout moments of the week. He now heads into the final round with a two-shot advantage.
Spain’s Pablo Alperi went one better in the morning, setting a new course record with a flawless 64 (-8). Starting from the 10th tee, the rookie surged on the back nine, recording six birdies over his final seven holes to move into second place, two shots behind the leader.
Italy’s Flavio Michetti sits in third place, three strokes back, after also posting an impressive 65 (-7).

Alexandre Vandermoten : “I had a really strong start, my first three holes left me with very short putts thanks to some great wedge shots, and I was also very solid on the greens. On the 11th, I hit a great drive and then had 231 metres. I struck a perfect 4-wood and saw the ball land on the green, but I didn’t know it had gone in until it was confirmed. After that, I stayed focused and managed my emotions well. It’s the third time I’ve put myself in a great position to win heading into the final round, which is very positive.
