After his win, Adarraga Gomez commented: “It was a very good tournament for me even if I had a tough start to the round making a few bogeys in a row. For the rest of the round, I focused and played some good golf. I made a very good birdie on the 18th hole to finish the round.” He added that he found: “Both of the golf courses we played this week were in very good conditions, and the greens were in excellent conditions for the entire tournament also.” Adarraga Gomez plans on: “playing the entire 2025 season on the Alps Tour to try and finish in the top 5 at the end of the year to earn access to the 2025 Challenge Tour.”
Victor Garcia Broto, 27, from Spain, concludes the 2024 Alps Tour Q-School Final Stage in 2nd place with a three-day score of 9 under-par. He shot a first-round score of level par at Golf Nazionale during Round 1 and a great 5 under-par, 67 during yesterday’s round 2 at Terre dei Consoli Golf Club. Today, he shot a final round of 4 under-par, 68 that included 6 birdies and 2 bogeys. Broto is a past winner on the Alps Tour and earned his pass for the Challenge Tour in 2021, thanks to the results he earned. After he concluded the qualifier, Broto commented: “It’s been a good week. We had very different conditions throughout the three days. We played two different courses this week, so it’s always challenging because the greens and the conditions aren’t always the same for the two courses. So, I’m very happy with the results, I’ve been playing well lately but this week especially since yesterday’s round 2. It’s a relief, I mean, it’s been a tough season for me this year so to end it with good feelings it’s always nice. I’m overall very happy and already looking forward to the next season.”
