A lot of good players were making a move, and it was tough, but I was lucky to make some clutch putts, especially on the back nine, and was able to remain in the lead.” Ji credited his solid play throughout the week, explaining, “Everything tee to green was very solid. Maybe what made the difference was my putting—I made a few more putts than usual.” Looking ahead, he said, “I’m excited to enjoy this win today. It’s been a lot of hard work, so I’m ready to enjoy it, but from tomorrow my focus shifts to the next tournament. It’s a new venue for me; I’ve never been there, so I’m excited to have a few good practice rounds and be ready to compete again next week.” Ji concluded, “This win is gratifying, but it doesn’t change my season goals. Like all the players, we compete to try and finish the season in the Top 5 to head to the HotelPlanner Tour. This win definitely helps me earn more points, and I’m very happy.”
In a three-way tie for second place at 11-under-par were Spain’s Ruben Pardo Rodríguez and Javier Calles Roman, alongside Ireland’s Ronan Mullarney.
The highlight of the day came from Spain’s Manuel Ballesteros, who recorded a spectacular hole-in-one on the 174-meter, par-3 second hole using an 8-iron.
Following the 2025 Aravell Golf Andorra Open by Creand, the eleventh event of the season, Italy’s Jacopo Vecchi Fossa continues to lead the Order of Merit with 20,631.38 points. Aravell, June 27th, 2025 – After two rounds of the 2025 Aravell Golf Andorra Open by Creand concluded with a tightly contested leaderboard and a two-way tie at the top, setting the stage for an exciting final round. Jerry Ji of the Netherlands and Italy’s Giovanni Manzoni share the lead at 9-under-par through 36 holes following two impressive rounds of consistent play. Close behind, Spain’s Javier Sainz and Alejandro Aguilera sit just one stroke back at 8-under-par, keeping the pressure firmly on the leaders heading into Saturday’s decisive round. After opening with a 5-under-par, 66 to sit in a tie for sixth place, Ji backed it up with a composed second-round 4-under-par, 67 to move into a share of the lead at 9-under-par heading into the final round. His round included five birdies and just a single bogey, underlining a day of solid course management in breezy conditions. “I played solid all around today,” Ji said. “It was hot and windy, so I managed my game well, and I’m happy about that.” One of the highlights of his round came early when he hit a 3-iron from 215 meters on the par-4 4th hole within 10 feet. “That was definitely the shot of the day,” he added. Unlike some of his fellow competitors, Ji wasn’t fazed by the heat. “For me, the heat didn’t play a part today. I just tried to drink enough water, but honestly, the weather was perfect.” Heading into the final round with a share of the lead, Ji remains focused on keeping things simple. “I’ll just focus on my own game tomorrow and play the best I can and hopefully it’ll be good enough at the end of the day.”
Italy’s Giovanni Manzoni, 25, moved into a share of the lead after round two of the 2025 Aravell Golf Andorra Open by Creand with a two-day total of 9-under-par. Although still searching for his first win on the Alps Tour, Manzoni has recorded multiple top-5 finishes and continues to show strong form. After opening with a 3-under-par 68, he produced a flawless, bogey-free 6-under-par 65 in round two, featuring two birdies on the front nine and four on the back. “Today was a good day, I managed to play consistently on the front nine, where I made two birdies and seven pars,” said Manzoni. “On the back nine, I started to struggle a bit more, but I managed to save some great pars that gave me the momentum to finish with three birdies.” While many players noted the challenging weather conditions, Manzoni found a way to adapt. “It was very hot and humid today, but playing in shorts really helped,” he added. Looking ahead to the final round, Manzoni remains grounded and focused. “Of course, winning my first tournament would be great, but that shouldn’t affect me too much, I’ll try to do my best and take whatever comes. Tomorrow, the goals remain the same as the past two days: focus on one shot at a time and try to play consistently.”

Spain’s Javier Sainz, 32, who sat in solo third place after the opening round of the 2025 Aravell Golf Andorra Open by Creand, now finds himself in a share of third place alongside fellow Spaniard Alejandro Aguilera with a two-day total of 8-under-par. Following an impressive opening round of 7-under-par 64, Sainz carded a 1-under-par 70 in the second round, which included five birdies and four bogeys. A former Alps Tour member, Sainz advanced to the HotelPlanner Tour, formerly known as the Challenge Tour—where he captured his first title at the 2022 Farmfoods Scottish Challenge. “I played well today, very similar to how I played yesterday, but the big difference was my putting,” Sainz admitted. “Today my putting was terrible, probably one of the worst putting days I’ve had lately. I’m looking forward to improving that and getting back to where it was yesterday to try and put together a low score tomorrow. For the final round, I just want to focus on playing my own game and definitely keep being patient. The weather affected me a little bit today. It’s very hot, and you need to stay focused. It was a little more difficult for me especially on the back nine to keep my concentration on every shot.”
A former winner on the Alps Tour after claiming the 2024 Croara Alps Open, Spain’s Alejandro Aguilera, 25, made a significant move up the leaderboard in round two of the 2025 Aravell Golf Andorra Open by Creand. Starting the day tied for 40th place following an opening round of 1-over-par, Aguilera produced a brilliant 7-under-par 64 to vault into a two-way tie for third place at 8-under-par overall. Beginning his round on the first tee, he picked up birdies on holes 2, 5, and 7 before dropping a shot at the 9th hole. After making the turn, he went on a birdie run from holes 11 through 14 and closed out with a final birdie on the 18th hole. “It went really smoothly,” Aguilera said after his round. “I hit the ball very well today, especially with my irons.” Reflecting on the improvement from his opening round, he explained, “Yesterday I didn’t hit the ball that well, so I made a few adjustments after the round, and they really helped me strike it much better today.” With temperatures soaring, Aguilera acknowledged the conditions played a role: “The heat definitely had an impact—the ball was flying a lot more, and we had to stay more hydrated than usual.” Currently in strong contention heading into the final round, Aguilera remains focused and hungry for a second title. “It feels great and really motivating,” he said. “I was in a similar position in Tabarka, but the final round was suspended, so I didn’t get the chance to fight for the win.” As for his approach heading into tomorrow: “I’ll keep focusing on the same things I’ve been working on over the past year and give it my absolute best.”
A total of 46 players made the cut which was set at 141 (-1). The Final Round will begin at 8:00 a.m. local time from the 1st and 10th hole. The Final Pairing will tee off at 9:17 a.m. local time from the 1st hole.

Aravell, June 26th, 2025 – After the first round of the 2025 Aravell Golf Andorra Open by Creand, the leaderboard is tightly packed with exciting contenders. France’s Ignacio Arcaya and Spain’s Javier Calles Roman share the lead, both carding an impressive 8-under-par 63. In solo third place is Spain’s Javier Sainz at 7-under. Players began from both the 1st and 10th tees under mostly sunny skies; however, a persistent wind picked up during the afternoon, making conditions significantly more challenging.

France’s Ignacio Arcaya, 24, who is still seeking his first victory on the Alps Tour despite multiple top-10 finishes, co-leads after the opening round of the 2025 Aravell Golf Andorra Open by Creand with an impressive 8-under-par 63. His standout round included an eagle on the par-5 4th hole, eight birdies on holes 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 14, and 18, and a single bogey on the 15th hole. Reflecting on his performance, Arcaya said, “It was a very solid round. I made a couple of long putts at the beginning which got the round going in the right direction. From there it was about executing the game plan and staying aggressive.” He highlighted his birdie on the 9th — “a long par 3” —as a key moment, adding, “Making a 10-meter putt for birdie there was a bonus.” Arcaya credited his all-around performance and comfort with course conditions: “Today every part of the game was solid, so I will try to keep doing what I am doing. Javier Calles Roman, 23, from Spain, co-leads the 2025 Aravell Golf Andorra Open by Creand after posting a fabulous 8-under-par 63 in the opening round. The young Spaniard, who secured his first professional title earlier this year at the 2025 Lacanau Alps Open, made 10 birdies and just two bogeys on the challenging, windy afternoon — bogeying holes 5 and 9. Calles Roman turned professional in May 2024 and has quickly made his mark on the tour. Reflecting on his opening round, he said, “It was a really great performance tee to green today. I left myself plenty of chances, which was the key.” Despite the challenging conditions, he remained confident: “The wind picked up a lot, which changed the strategy on some holes for me, but I stayed aggressive and didn’t let the situation affect me.”Looking ahead, Calles Roman emphasized the importance of maintaining focus. “It’s obviously very nice to be on top early. It sets the goal for the rest of the week. My focus for the rest of the week will be to keep focusing on myself and my strategy and be ready to adapt if situations or conditions change.” He added, “I have it in my mind all the time to try and win a second tournament this season. Javier Sainz, 32, of Spain, holds third place after an opening round of 7-under-par 64. Starting on the 1st hole, Sainzcarded five birdies on the front nine. After making the turn, he added three more birdies and a single bogey to close out an impressive first round. “It was a solid game tee to green,” Sainz said. “I’m happy to put a low score in the wind this afternoon. The highlight of the day may have been the good birdie I made on Hole 8 from 192 meters,” he said. “I hit a bad drive left, but after that, I hit the best shot of the day.” A former Alps Tour member, for several years before moving up to the HotelPlanner Tour, formerly known as the Challenge Tour. Sainz has won the 2024 Spanish Professionals Championship and the 2023 II?Barcelona Open by Pablo Larrazábal. He also claimed his first HotelPlanner Tour victory at the 2022 Farmfoods Scottish Challenge. Looking ahead, Sainz plans to stick to his process. “For the next two days, I’ll just focus on every shot and keep playing my own game,” he said. “Every week for me is the same no matter what tour I’m competing on, but maybe the experience I have helps me to be calmer in certain situations.” He added: “Being back in contention is amazing for me because I needed a low round to believe more and more in my game.”
Spain’s Ruben Pardo Rodriguez, 23, sits in a two-way tie for fourth place after firing a 6-under-par, 65 in the opening round of the 2025 Aravell Golf Andorra Open by Creand. His round featured an eagle on the par-5 4th hole, seven birdies on holes 2, 3, 5, 7, 13, 14, and 18, and three bogeys on holes 1, 9, and 15. “It was a really good round, solid from the tee and I stayed patient with the putter,” Pardo Rodriguez said. He pointed to a hot stretch between holes 2 and 7, where he went to six under par, as the highlight of the day, especially with the eagle on the 4th. “The truth is that I’m very happy with my tee shots, I think it’s the most important part of my game on this course,” he noted. “Today’s performance gives me confidence going into the next rounds. The key now is to play with the same belief I had today and give myself a chance on Saturday.”
Alongside Pardo Rodriguez, in the two-way tie for 4th place with a first-round score of 6-under-par 65, is fellow Spanish player Manuel Morugan, 34. During his opening round, he made five birdies on the front nine and added two more birdies and a single bogey on the back nine to close out his day. Morugan, a past winner on the Alps Tour, reflected positively on his performance: “It was a good round! My game was very solid in all aspects, and having my mental coach here with me this week helped a lot.” Focused more on process than the position, he added, “For me, it’s not important to be at the top, what matters is doing things correctly and following my process. If that leads to being on top or close to the top of the leaderboard, then that’s even better.” He emphasized that everything felt in sync today: “Everything was perfect today, and the focus now is to maintain that same mindset and keep working on the things I’ve been practicing.”
Christos Pantazidis, 22, from Greece, is in a 6-way tie for 6th place after the first round of the 2025 Aravell Golf Andorra Open by Creand. He shot a bogey-free 5-under-par 66, making two birdies on the front nine and three more on the back. “Today the conditions were great, and I played flawless golf,” said Pantazidis. “I hit 18 out of 18 greens in regulation and missed only two fairways.” He highlighted his second shot on the par-5 18th, an accurate 3-wood that set up an easy two-putt birdie, as the standout moment of the round. The 2025 Aravell Golf Andorra Open by Creand Celebrates Its 4th Edition This Week
Aravell, June 24th, 2025 – This week, we return to action in northeastern Spain for the 4th edition of the 2025 Aravell Golf Andorra Open by Creand. The tournament will take place from June 26th–28th at the picturesque Aravell Golf & Country Club, located near Aravell, Lleida, Spain.
Now in its fourth year, the tournament was originally established to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the host venue, Aravell Golf & Country Club.
On Monday, June 23rd, a Qualifying Tournament was held at the same venue, with the top 19 players earning a spot in this week’s field.
Two Best Ball Aggregate to Par pro-ams are scheduled for this week, both starting with a 9:30 a.m. shotgun. The Opening Pro-Am will take place on Wednesday, June 25th, while the Closing Pro-Am will be played on Sunday, June 29th. The newly crowned champion of the 2025 Aravell Golf Andorra Open by Creand will participate in the closing pro-am scheduled for Sunday.
The Field
The majority of this season’s ten winners will be in this field this week, competing for the 2025 Aravell Golf Andorra Open by Creand promising a highly competitive event. Only three past winners will be absent: Italy’s Andrea Romano, winner of the 2025 Alps de Andalucía–Roquetas de Mar; Italy’s Jacopo Vecchi Fossa, who claimed victory at the 2025 Open de la Mirabelle d’Or; and Spain’s Rocco Repetto Taylor.
Repetto Taylor secured a brilliant win at the Challenge de Cádiz on the HotelPlanner Tour at the beginning of June following his first Alps Tour title in March at the La Cigale Golf Open in Tunisia. He has now moved on to compete full-time on the higher-level tour.
Most of the players currently ranked in the top 10 of the Order of Merit will be competing for the title at the 4th edition of the 2025 Aravell Golf Andorra Open by Creand. The only three are not in the field this week: Italy’s Jacopo Vecchi Fossa, the current Order of Merit leader; Spain’s Rocco Repetto Taylor, ranked 6th; and Italy’s Flavio Michetti, who sits in 8th place.
A standout from the 2023 season, Ireland’s Ronan Mullarney—winner of two titles and the Order of Merit, will be competing this week among a field of 144 players. His success earned him a promotion to the HotelPlanner Tour for the 2024 season.
In this week’s 144-player field, athletes represent 18 countries from around the world, including Andorra, Argentina, Austria, Brazil, Bulgaria, England, Spain, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Jersey, Monaco, the Netherlands, Switzerland, and the United States of America.
The event offers a total prize fund of €42,500 and 45,000 Order of Merit points. The tournament winner will take home €6,200 and earn 6,525 points toward the Order of Merit standings.

Located just 15 km from the Principality of Andorra and 5 km from La Seu d’Urgell, Aravell Golf & Country Club is nestled in Aravell, Lleida, Spain. This 18-hole course, designed by two-time Masters Champion José María Olazábal, will be played as a par 71 over a distance of 6,155 meters.

Théo Boulet moves into the lead after Round 2 at the 2024 Aravell Golf Andorra Open by Creand
- Aravell, June 28th, 2024- After two rounds of the 2024 Aravell Golf Andorra Open by Creand, which is currently being played at the beautiful Aravell Golf & Country Club, we have a very close leaderboard. France’s Théo Boulet leads with a two-day score of 11 under-par after a fabulous 7 under-par in round 2. France’s Benjamin Kedochim is in 2nd place with a total score of 9 under-par. France’s Paul Margolis and Spain’s Ruben Lafuente Montesa are in a 2-way tie for 3rd place at 8 under-par.
The second round of the 2024 Aravell Golf Andorra Open by Creand, played at Aravell Golf & Country Club, located near Aravell, Lleida, Spain, began again this morning from holes 1 and 10 at 8:00 a.m. local time. The players competing for the title this week faced another day of very warm temperatures.
This year, we are celebrating the 3rd edition of the tournament, which was established to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the host golf club, Aravell Golf & Country Club, which was designed by the two-time Masters Champion Jose Maria Olazábal.

France’s Théo Boulet, 21, from France, moves into the lead after round 2 of the 2024 Aravell Golf Andorra Open by Creand. He was tied for 5th place at 4 under-par after the 1st round and shot an incredible 7 under-par, 64 in today’s round 2 to conclude with a two-day total of 11 under-par. During today’s 2nd round, he made 1 eagle, 7 birdies and 2 bogeys. Boulet earned his 1st professional win at our most recent tournament, the 21st Open International de la Mirabelle d’Or. After his round, Boulet commented on how: “I strongly believe that what has made a difference in my game has been my putting, my short- and long-range putts have been exceptionally good. Also, I’m seeing that I’ve been able to make fewer mistakes during this week and also during the last tournament, which I won at Mirabelle, and that is resulting in me being able to make fewer bogeys, so that allows me to put together a lower score overall.” After today’s round, Boulet takes away some valuable knowledge about his attitude: “I can say that it was really good. I was able to stay calm when I missed a shot, and I was in the present and always focused on my game plan. I worked a lot on my attitude and the hard work I did is paying off. For tomorrow, I won’t change anything compared to the 1st two rounds. The only attention I will have is staying vigilant about what mood I put myself in ahead of the tournament, and then if I keep doing what I did the past two days, I’m sure everything will take care of itself.” Tomorrow Boulet has a chance to win his 2nd professional win and back-to-back title, he described it as “It would be incredible, truly incredible. It would be my 2ndprofessional win, 2nd win in my last 2 starts, so it would be very special. It would also show that the hard work I’m doing with my coaches is paying off, so we must keep going. However, there is still a round to be played, so I will keep focused on what I have to do, and we will see what happens at the end of the round tomorrow.”
Benjamin Kedochim, 29, from France, concludes the 2nd round of the 2024 Aravell Golf Andorra Open by Creand in 2nd place with a two-day total of 9 under-par. He was co-leading after yesterday’s first round with a 7 under-par,64 while today he shot a 2 under-par, 69 making 5 birdies and 3 bogeys. When he concluded his 2nd round, Kedochim commented: “It was another good day of golf. I didn’t hit the ball as close as I did yesterday though that’s why my birdie opportunities today were from 5-6 meters instead of 2-3 meters like yesterday. It was tougher today to make birdies, I missed some greens too but was able to make a lot of pars. I’m sticking to my game and playing shot by shot. Hopefully that will do it, so far it’s been working well.” Looking ahead to tomorrow’s final round, Kedochim has a chance to earn his 1st Alps Tour title: “Tomorrow I will do the same. Shot by shot, follow my gameplan and try to be in contention on the back nine to hopefully earn my 1st win.”
France’s Paul Margolis, 24, is in a 2-way tie for 3rd place after two rounds at the 2024 Aravell Golf Andorra Open by Creand. He was tied for the lead at 7 under-par after the 1st round of the tournament and shot a 1 under-par, 70 today with 3 birdies and 2 bogeys for a two-day total of 8 under-par. Margolis won as an amateur on the Alps Tour in 2021, and since then, he earned various top-10 finishes but is looking for his first title as a professional. After his round, Margolis, explained how: “The course was more complicated today, the pin positions were tougher and I felt even though there was less wind, it was much hotter than what it was yesterday, so it was overall it was a harder round.” Thinking about today’s round, Margolis commented: “I hit the ball very good again, but it was as precise. My putting was a little off today, I had a lot of lip outs compared to yesterday where I made a lot of putts. Overall compared to yesterday every part of my game was a little less sharp but it was still a very good round.” He guesses that the “with a 14 under-par score you will grab the trophy tomorrow.”
Ruben Lafuente Montesa, 23, from Spain, concludes his 2nd round of the 2024 Aravell Golf Andorra Open by Creand with a total score of 8 under-par and finds himself in a 2-way tie for 3rd place alongside Margolis. He shot a 6 under-par, 65 in today’s round with 6 birdies, 2 bogeys, and 1 eagle on his final hole of the day. After his round 2, Lafuente Montesa talked about how: “I felt very good on the course today, I was able to make some important putts during the round. For tomorrow, I just want to continue with the confidence I’ve had during the first two rounds and continue playing the way I do. It is really difficult to predict the winning result, but probably if I play like today, I plan on reaching -14 tomorrow, and I don’t think that will be very far from the winning score.”

A French duo leads after Round 1 at the 2024 Aravell Golf Andorra Open by Creand
Aravell, June 27th, 2024- France’s Paul Margolis and Benjamin Kedochim co-lead after the 1st round of the 2024 Aravell Golf Andorra Open by Creand. with a 7 under-par, 64. In a two-way tie for 3rd place another French duo: Antoine Santarelli and Baptiste Achard only 1 stroke back at 6 under-par.
The first round of the 2024 Aravell Golf Andorra Open by Creand, played at Aravell Golf & Country Club, located near Aravell, Lleida, Spain, began this morning at 8:00 a.m. local time from holes 1 and 10.

France’s Benjamin Kedochim, 29, co-leads alongside Margolis after the opening round of the 2024 Aravell Golf Andorra Open by Creand. He shot an opening round with 10 birdies and 3 bogeys for a 7 under-par. 64 round. During today’s opening round, Kedochim was paired alongside the other co-leader, Margolis, and they enjoyed their round together: “I played with Paul Margolis today, and I’ve played with him in the past, and I must say every time we play together we play well so playing with him today was fun. Brandon Kewalramani was with us, I never played with him before, but it was a fun round overall for all of us. It’s always enjoyable to play golf while you’re having fun, and good scores are a bonus.” Kedochim is the current Order of Merit leader, and he commented that he “isn’t focusing on the order of merit, I’m just focusing on playing my own game like every time. I am doing my best each day and putting a good round together. The rest will take care of itself.” He believes the only real mistake he made today was on the 6th hole where he “3-putted. The other 2 bogeys I made today I guess I can say I deserved them but I do regret the 3-putt on hole 6 as I hit the green and should’ve two-putted. That’s the only negative aspect of today’s round.”
Alongside Santarelli in the two-way tie for 3rd place with a first-round score of 6 under-par, 65, fellow French player Baptiste Achard, 26. During his opening round, he made 5 birdies and 1 bogey on the front nine holes and then added 4 more birdies and 2 bogeys on the back nine to end his day. Once he concluded his first round, Achard was satisfied with how his day went as he: “made a lot of putts today. I’m extremely satisfied with my putting today. Overall, it was a good day of golf and I made a lot of birdies, I believe 9 in total. For the next two rounds, I want to stay really focused on my game and my strategy but also be very patient with myself. There is a lot of golf left to be played.”
Théo Boulet, 21, from France, is in a 6-way tie for 5th place at the conclusion of the 1st round of the 2024 Aravell Golf Andorra Open by Creand. He shot a 4 under-par, 67 round today, making 7 birdies and 3 bogeys. Boulet earned his 1stprofessional win at our most recent tournament, the 21st Open International de la Mirabelle d’Or. After his round, Boulet commented on how: “My driving was a little less efficient, but luckily, it didn’t penalize me. My strategy, my way of approaching the course, and my putting were very good today. I think it’s the real important part of my game, and that’s what made the difference during the round.” He added that he found: “the conditions were good today. I played in the morning wave, and there was no wind. However, it was very hot, and I think that the heat will play an important role during this tournament, especially on a physical level.”
A past winner on the Alps Tour, France’s Franck Médale, 29, is also in the 6-way tie for 5th place after the opening round of the 2024 Aravell Golf Andorra Open by Creand. He teed off on hole 10 today, where he went on to make 1 eagle and 1 birdie on his opening nine holes. Once he made the turn, he made 3 more birdies and 2 bogeys to finish the day. Médale has had a rough start to the 2024 season, but after his first round, he commented: “I worked with my staff on making the game simpler and more fun. I’m enjoying myself much more on the course now, and I’m looking forward to playing the rest of the season.”

The 3rd edition of the 2024 Aravell Golf Andorra Open by Creand gets underway this week.
Aravell, June 25th, 2024- This week, the Alps Tour heads to the Northeastern area of Spain to compete in the 3rd edition of the 2024 Aravell Golf Andorra Open by Creand. The tournament will be played from June 27th to 29th at the beautiful Aravell Golf & Country Club, located near Aravell, Lleida, Spain.
This year will be the 3rd edition of the tournament, which was created to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the host golf club.
A Qualifying Tournament took place at Aravell Golf & Country Club on Monday, June 24th. The top 20 players qualified for this week’s tournament.
This week, two Best Ball Aggregate to Par pro-ams will be disputed. The opening pro-am will take place on Wednesday, June 16th, with approximately 25 teams participating, and the closing pro-am will be played on Sunday, June 30th, with an estimated 25 teams. During the closing pro-am, the winner of the 3rd edition of the 2024 Aravell Golf Andorra Open by Creand will participate.
The majority of this season’s winners except for Spain’s Jose Antonio Sintes Navarro (am), winner of the 2024 Red Sea Little Venice Open, Austria’s Maximilian Steinlechner winner of the 2024 Gösser Open, and Antoine Auboin from France, winner of the 2024 Lacanau Alps Open, will be competing for the 3rd edition of the 2024 Aravell Golf Andorra Open by Creand title.All the players currently in the top 10 of the Order of Merit rank will be competing except for Maximilian Steinlechner, who is currently in 10th place.
Among the players competing this week, Spain’s Juan Postigo will be present just like in last year’s edition. He reached the 3rd place in the World Rankings for Golfers with Disabilities and has captured numerous prestigious titles in his career, including the European Championship for Golfers with Disability in 2021 and Abu Dhabi in 2023.
Spain’s Alvaro Velasco is also in the field this week. He is a veteran professional player who competed on the European Tour, as well as a winner on the Challenge Tour.
There are 21 different nationalities represented among the expected 144 players scheduled to compete in Northern Spain.
The 144 players in the field will compete for an overall prize fund of €40,000 and 45,000 Order of Merit points. The 2024 Aravell Golf Andorra Open by Creand winner will walk away with €5,800.00 and 6,525 Order of Merit points.
The players are competing to earn a spot in the top 5 Order of Merit rank which at the end of the season, will give them access to the 2025 Challenge Tour.

The Course
Located only 15 km from the Andorra Principality and 5 km from La Seu d’Urgell, Aravell Golf & Country Club is situated in Aravell, Leida, Spain. It is an 18-hole course designed by two-times Masters Champion, José María Olazábal. The golf course will be played as a par 71, 6155 meters.
Aravell Golf & Country Club is a compact and fun layout course. Its narrow fairways, relatively small greens, and spacious rough make it challenging for players. The course is in a large valley, 700 meters above sea level, and it has beautiful views of the Pyrenees and the Cadí mountains.
