Italy’s Nino Bertasio fired flawless 65 to lead by two shot in Asiago Open. A group of three players is on his toes, compatriot Andrea Romano, overnight leader Austria’s Jürgen Maurer and Dominique Nouailhac from France.

Bertasio made no mistakes on the tricky and narrow golf course near Venezia. The 25 year old player kept the momentum he had last week in French West Indies and is confortable with his new Alps Tour winner status. Overnight leader, Maurer, did not manage to be as efficient as during first round and his 70 one under par card left him two shots behind the lead.

Another Italian player had a great day on home soil, Andrea Romano. He signed for best score tie of the day 65 to share second place with France’s Dominique Nouailhac. The latter had brilliant round with 67 and no dropped shot.
